1. Introduction

This Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Policy outlines the obligations of London School of Business & Education Ltd (LSBE), a company registered in England & Wales under number 12838732, with its registered office at Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

LSBE’s IQA framework ensures that policies, procedures, and standards are maintained to provide students with a high-quality educational experience. This is achieved through systematic quality management, continuous staff development, and regular review processes.

1.1 Quality Assurance Policy

LSBE is committed to maintaining excellence in the provision of its services through:

  • Implementing a comprehensive Quality Assurance System (QAS).

  • Continuously improving services, training, customer support, and post-course assistance.

  • Regularly reviewing policies to ensure relevance and compliance.

  • Monitoring students' needs and industry trends to ensure up-to-date learning and development opportunities.

  • Complying with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements for information handling and storage.

1.2 Management of Quality

The Quality Manager (QM) oversees training, assessments, and internal verification to meet National Occupational Standards. Responsibilities may extend to the Center Coordinator, Dean, or an impartial External Verifier.

1.3 Purpose of Sampling

Sampling ensures assessment and verification decisions meet required standards.

  • Periodic Sampling: Conducted during the training to monitor performance, provide feedback, and maintain standardization.

  • Final Sampling: Reviews the quality and validity of assessments at the conclusion of the process.

Sampling checks evidence against these criteria:

  • Validity: Relevance to the qualification standards.

  • Authenticity: Produced solely by the trainee.

  • Currency: Recent enough to reflect current competencies.

  • Sufficiency: Covers all requirements of the standards.

1.4 Roles and Responsibilities

Sales Staff

  • Register students and provide accurate information.

  • Ensure suitability of students for qualifications.

  • Protect sensitive personal data per Data Protection laws.

Admin Staff

  • Maintain secure storage and handling of sensitive documents and assessments.

  • Track and manage exam papers and portfolio evidence.

  • Provide timely updates on candidate results and certificates.

Professors/Instructors/Assessors

  • Meet minimum teaching and assessment qualifications.

  • Verify student details and suitability.

  • Deliver training and assessments in alignment with LSBE and awarding body guidelines.

Quality Verifier (QV)

  • Monitor and evaluate training, assessments, and verification.

  • Provide feedback, create sampling plans, and conduct periodic and end-of-process verifications.

  • Oversee continuous professional development of staff.

1.5 Evaluation Strategy

The Quality Verifier ensures quality through:

  • Regular performance monitoring of staff and students.

  • Sampling portfolios and conducting observations.

  • Addressing discrepancies and resolving issues before certification.

2. Continuous Professional Development

  • Professors, instructors, and assessors are required to maintain professional competence through training and development programs.

  • LSBE supports ongoing learning to ensure all staff are up-to-date with industry and academic standards.

3. Design and Development

  • Any changes to pre-approved courses must be reported to relevant bodies for approval before implementation.

  • LSBE ensures its courses meet the required academic and occupational standards.

4. Conflict of Interest

  • Professors/instructors/assessors must not train, assess, or invigilate individuals to whom they are related or have a vested interest.

  • Any conflicts must be reported to the Quality Verifier or Director immediately.

  • Failure to disclose conflicts will result in an internal investigation, with resolutions shared with relevant bodies.

5. Policy Accessibility

This policy is available to all staff and students through the Moodle platform.
