1. Tuition Fees
1.1 To secure enrollment in a course or program, the student must select a preferred payment plan during the onboarding process. Following selection, the student shall receive a conditional enrolment letter outlining all program-related, administrative, and financial details.
1.2 The initial payment, in accordance with the selected payment plan, must be made within five (5) business days of receiving the conditional enrollment letter.
1.3 Upon receipt of the payment, LSBE will issue a final enrollment letter and welcome package, which will confirm the student’s seat in the program and provide student credentials, including access to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
1.4 Failure to remit payment within the stipulated period will require the student to contact accounts@londonsbe.com to request a revised conditional enrollment letter. LSBE reserves the right to alter any previously applied discounts or promotions in such cases.
1.5 LSBE reserves the right to increase tuition fees annually, with any increase not exceeding 6% of the previous academic year's tuition fee or aligning with the preceding November’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), whichever is higher. Students will be notified of any fee increases at least 3 months prior to the commencement of the new academic year.
2. Commitment
2.1 Students electing the 50-50 or monthly installment payment plan agree to fulfill tuition fee obligations for the entire academic year, irrespective of course completion status.
2.2 LSBE is committed to delivering the advertised course and ensuring that all associated costs required for completion are covered within the agreed tuition fees.
3. Payment Methods
3.1 LSBE offers the following payment options:
• Bank Transfer: Students are responsible for covering any bank charges or transfer fees. Payment references provided in the conditional enrolment letter must be included to ensure proper identification.
• Debit/Credit Card: Payments can be made securely via debit or credit card.
3.2 Third-Party Payment Processors: Payments made via PayPal or other third-party platforms may incur additional processing fees, which will be communicated prior to transaction processing.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
4.1 Tuition fees are strictly non-refundable.
4.2 In the event of LSBE or its accreditation partner, EU Global, cancelling the program or being unable to deliver the advertised course, refunds will be issued after deducting administrative and operational costs incurred up to the cancellation date. If LSBE or its accreditation partner, EU Global, are unable to commence the course as advertised and no fixed later start date is possible, the student will receive a full refund within 10 business days.
4.3 LSBE’s Refund Policy outlines specific conditions for student-initiated withdrawals or cancellations, including but not limited to:
• Withdrawals made within 7 days of enrollment will be eligible for a refund minus payment processing fees as well as 10% administrative charges, with refunds processed within 10 business days.
• No refunds will be issued after 7 days of enrollment.
5. Mitigating Circumstances
5.1 Definition: Mitigating circumstances are significant and unavoidable events beyond a student's control that substantially impact their ability to meet payment obligations. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
• Serious personal injury or illness.
• Bereavement of a close family member.
• Severe financial hardship due to unforeseen events.
5.2 Application Process: Students seeking consideration under mitigating circumstances must submit a formal request to accounts@londonsbe.com as soon as possible, providing:
• A detailed explanation of the circumstances.
• Relevant supporting evidence (e.g., medical certificates, death certificates, financial statements).
5.3 Review and Outcome: Upon receipt of the request, LSBE will review the submission and may offer accommodations, such as:
• Extended payment deadlines.
• Revised payment plans.
• Temporary suspension of late payment penalties.
6. Late Payments
6.1 Failure to comply with the agreed payment schedule may result in:
• Notification to the student, requesting payment within 14 days.
• Suspension of access to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) until outstanding payments are cleared.
• Imposition of late payment penalties.
• Requirement of additional administrative fees for re-enrollment.
6.2 After 14 days and multiple attempts to establish contact, an initial administrative fee of up to £150will be incurred. If it becomes necessary for LSBE to instruct solicitors, further administration fees of at least £220 and £195, respectively, may be incurred.
6.3 Continued non-payment may result in withdrawal from the program and referral to debt collection agencies, with additional costs incurred by the student.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
7.1 LSBE ensures that all financial transactions and personal data provided for payment purposes will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR.
8. Amendments
8.1 LSBE reserves the right to modify these payment terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to students via official communication channels.
